No, this isn't about team Ange or team Jen, although it does appear this way. This is about workin' it at work.
There have been no posts for a while and I apologise, I've been doing the inevitable job search and trying to plan my wedding at the same time. While many of you might think 'well she's unemployed, she could have posted something' you're absolutely right (giggle).
Well enough of the lame excuses, I want to be able to allow you by then end of this post to go to your wardrobe and throw away all your 'dad' pant suits, matching skirt suits and air hostess scarves that you've been wearing monday to friday 9-5 or that you were planning to wear for your job interview this coming week.
Now if there's any wardrobe that I could legally steal it would be Olivia Palermo (The City):
she knows how to dress to impress for the office, whether an intern, secretary, assistant, officer or CEO it's important to look smart, respectable, clean and crisp.
You will be taken more seriously and will always feel confident (flicking through your keynote powerpoint on organic toilet spray).
Tips to get you started:
- Make sure you have your hair pulled back away from your face
- if you like your down style; maintain it, spritz spray and make sure there's no Bieber fringe happening.
- Don't wear over the top accessories.
- Cover up any cleavage and limit your short skirts to a midi or tailored pants.
